Please send a plain text file. Zip files, binHex and other archive and coding formats are not recognized by the robot and will result in the log being rejected. We will have the file and can get the log but that increases the workload of the volunteers.
You will receive an automated reply telling you it was received. Some changes for you to make to your log for resubmittal may be included which will make log processing more efficient with fewer errors. For an explanation of the messages, see Robot Messages.
You can send your log as many times as needed to correct the log format or correct errors you discovered. The system makes only the last log you sent available for checking.
1) Your callsign is in the message subject and in the log.
2) Your log is in Cabrillo format.
3) The log begins with
and has both dashes with a colon at the end.
3) The contest name in the
log looks like this:
These are the only two that are accepted.
5) The category is one of the standards shown on the expanded Cabrillo Information page.
6) The last line in the log is
6) The time and date (UTC) must be within the contest period. If not, the log may be for the wrong contest or the robotwill delete those entries.
7) Check the summary area of the log to be surwe there are spaces after the colons and the keys are properly hyphenated.
8) Be sure each line in the summary has a key. If you need more lines for your address or for your comments , add as many ADDRESS: and SOAPBOX: keys as you need.
